The handshake, in writing.
These are the terms for booking and joining a tour with me, Joe Nichols, operating as Joe's Las Vegas Park Tours in Las Vegas, Nevada. By sending a booking request or using this site, you agree to what's below. I've kept it as plain as I can.

Booking is a request, not a confirmation
When you send the form, you're asking to hold a date. Your tour isn't booked until I reply and confirm it, usually within 24 hours. If I can't do your date, I'll say so and we'll find another. Nothing is charged when you send a request.
Payment and deposits
Once I confirm your tour, I'll send you payment details for the method you chose (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, or cash on the day). To hold your date I ask for a deposit, with the balance due before or on the day of the tour. Prices are per person as listed on each tour page. You pay through your own app directly; I never see your card or bank details.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move your tour, let me know as early as you can by phone or text. If you cancel at least 48 hours before your tour, your deposit is refunded or applied to a new date. Inside 48 hours, the deposit may be kept to cover the reserved day. If I have to cancel for weather or safety, you'll always get a full refund or a new date, your choice. (Deposit amount and cancellation window are set by Joe and may be confirmed when he replies to your request.)
Weather, conditions, and safety
These are outdoor tours in the desert. I may adjust, shorten, or reschedule a tour for heat, storms, road or park closures, or anything I judge unsafe. Your safety comes first, always. On the tour, you agree to follow my instructions, stay with the group, keep to marked areas, and respect park rules and Leave No Trace.
Your fitness and health
Some tours involve walking, uneven ground, elevation, and summer heat, and the hikes are more strenuous. You're responsible for choosing a tour that fits your ability and for telling me about anything I should know (mobility needs, medical conditions, allergies) so I can plan for it. If you have a health concern, please check with your doctor before joining.
Assumption of risk and release
Outdoor recreation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven or slippery terrain, falling, heat and dehydration, weather, wildlife, and vehicle travel. By joining a tour, you accept these risks for yourself and anyone in your party, including minors in your care. To the fullest extent allowed by Nevada law, you release Joe's Las Vegas Park Tours and Joe Nichols from liability for injury, loss, or damage that isn't caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. I carry out each tour with care and experience, and I ask you to take reasonable care of yourself too.
Photos
I sometimes take photos on tour to remember the day and, with permission, to share my work. If you'd rather not be photographed, just tell me and that's the end of it.
The website
The information on this site (tour details, prices, availability) is offered in good faith and can change. The live calendar reflects my best current availability, but I confirm every date personally. Third-party tools I use, such as the calendar, the booking form, and payment apps, have their own terms that apply to your use of them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim related to a tour or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the tour in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
